DST – Lockheed Martin India Innovation Growth Award 2013

Vinvish Technologies bags Gold Medal at the DST-Lockheed Martin India Innovation Growth Programme (IIGP) for developing Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) laser.
Dr. Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission, presenting the DST-Lockheed Martin India Innovation Growth Programme 2013 Innovators’ Competition and Awards in New Delhi on May 2, 2013 at a function organized by FICCI and DST, Govt of India at the FICCI Chambers New Delhi, to Dr N. Subhash, Chief Scientist, Vinvish Technologies, Trivandrum for the PDT laser. India Innovation Growth Programme (IIGP) which is a joint initiative of FICCI, the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India; Lockheed Martin Corporation; Indo-US Science and Technology Forum; Stanford Graduate School of Business and the IC2 Institute at the University of Texas, received almost 1000 applications from sectors as diverse as clean energy, agriculture, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, robotics etc. The aim of this programme is to accelerate innovative Indian technologies into the global markets. The Supercontinuum Light Source developed by Vinvish with support under the NIMLTI programme of CSIR was released by the Hon’ble Minister of S&T and Earth Sciences, Shri. S Jaipal Reddy at the 71stFoundation Day Celebrations of CSIR held in New Delhi on September 26, 2013. Dr. N. Subhash and Mr. Syam Mohan of Vinvish Technologies were present at the function along with the Dr. S.K. Bhadra of CGCRI, Kolkata, who was our collaborator in this CSIR funded project. Dr. Ajoy Ghatak, Retired Professor of IIT Delhi and Dr. Hari Om Yadav of CSIR were present during the function.

Vinvish bags the DBT- BIRAC Innovator Award 2013

Vinvish Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Trivandrum was awarded the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) Innovators Award 2013, for the best innovation in the Biomedical Devices, Implants and Diagnostics Sector, in recognition of their significant contribution to innovative research towards the development of an indigenous Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) Laser System. The award is being received by Dr N Subhash, Chief Scientist, Vinvish Technologies, from Dr. K. Vijay Raghavan, Secretary, DBT and Chairman, BIRAC in the presence of Dr Renu Swarup, MD BIRAC and Adviser DBT, at a function organized by DBT-BIRAC at Heritage Village Resort, Manesar, Gurgaon on 23rd Sept 2013.

Kerala State Govt. Award of unique achievement for Innovation – 2015

Vinvish Technologies Pvt. Ltd. was awarded the “Unique Achievement Award for Innovation – 2015” for our R&D project “Development of completely packaged all-Fiber Supercontinuum Light Source” and “The Broad Spectrum Confocal Microscope” by the Kerala state Government. The award is being received by Mr. Pius Varughese, General Manager, Vinvish Technologies Pvt. Ltd., from the Hon’ble Cabinet Minister Mr. P. K. Kunhalikutty, Minister for Industries and Information Technology, Government of Kerala at a function organized by KINFRA at Trivandrum on 14th January, 2015.

Ltd. along with our collaborator CGCRI, Kolkatta was awarded the “CSIR Technology award for Innovation 2015” for our R&D project “Development of completely packaged all-Fiber Supercontinuum Light Source” by the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) New Delhi, India. The award is being received by Mr. Pius Varughese, General Manager, Vinvish Technologies Pvt. Ltd., from the Hon’ble Cabinet Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister for Ministry of Science & Earth Science and Hon’ble Minister Mr. Y S Chowdary, Union Minister of State for Science and Technology & Earth Sciences at a function organized by CSIR on the 73rd Foundation day celebration at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on 26th September, 2015.
