Vinvish Technologies bags Gold Medal at the DST-Lockheed Martin India Innovation Growth Programme (IIGP) for developing Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) laser. Dr. Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission, presenting the DST-Lockheed Martin India Innovation Growth Programme 2013 Innovators’ Competition and Awards in New Delhi on May 2, 2013 at a function organized by FICCI and DST, Govt of India at the FICCI Chambers New Delhi, to Dr N. Subhash, Chief Scientist, Vinvish Technologies, Trivandrum for the PDT laser. India Innovation Growth Programme (IIGP) which is a joint initiative of FICCI, the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India; Lockheed Martin Corporation; Indo-US Science and Technology Forum; Stanford Graduate School of Business and the IC2 Institute at the University of Texas, received almost 1000 applications from sectors as diverse as clean energy, agriculture, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, robotics etc. The aim of this programme is to accelerate innovative Indian technologies into the global markets.
